Tess Gallegos

Tess Gallegos owns Holistica Skincare and is a licensed esthetician and licensed massage therapist. She was licensed as an esthetician in 2000 and as a massage therapist in 2003, the same year she graduated from the Boulder College of Massage Therapy. She trained through Aveda as an esthetician and has practiced in Durango, Boulder and Denver, in clinics, spas and private studios. She became a certified Dr Hauschka esthetician in 2006, a few years into her skincare work, and now serves as a Regional Educator for Dr Hauschka Skincare International and as a Professional Trainer and Skincare Educator for Dr Hauschka Skincare. She also gained on-the-job experience at an herbal apothecary and in the nutritional supplement industry. Her facials, chemical peels and brow and lash services draw on years of product research, classes and trade shows. She no longer offers standalone massage, but her massage training shapes her facials. Her approach is to read what the skin needs during each visit and build the treatment around that, with the aim that clients leave understanding their skin, their products and how to use them.
