Taneasha Hines

Taneasha Hines founded PHD Hair Solutions and is known as the Queen of Hair Illusions. She has more than 20 years in the beauty industry, starting out as a braider before she went to cosmetology school. She graduated from Dudley Beauty College in 2003, holds the title Master Cosmetologist and is a licensed cosmetology professional. She later graduated from ProFresh Barber Academy in 2025.

Her certifications include Bellami Certified Extension Specialist, a Trichology certification from the International Association of Trichologists, and Certified Hair Loss Specialist under Toni Love. Her experience covers length retention, precision cutting, color, advanced hair replacement and alopecia coverage. Earlier in her career she concentrated on alopecia coverage, non-surgical hair replacement and solutions for clients experiencing hair loss.

Today her focus is customized, natural-looking hair extensions and Healthy Hair Sessions. She has worked with Wigs for Kids, published a book, and developed products and educational resources. She has been featured in media including VoyageATL and has taken part in beauty-industry events and competitions. She also teaches beauty professionals through personalized hands-on and virtual training.
