Tami Root

Tami Root owns Studio Root Skin Care and works as a solo practitioner in the micro-business. She opened her first studio in 2006 and has been performing facials for decades. She previously worked at a spa, where she earned a commission on the services she performed. She teaches facial techniques aimed at clear pores and smooth skin, and she has stopped a facial a handful of times when a client's skin reacted. Her work includes facial hair removal by tweezing and shaving, and she prefers those methods to waxing. In a session, she can shave some facial areas while the client shaves others at home.
