Tamar Hajar

Tamar Hajar is a Mohs surgeon at NW Dermatology Institute. Her training began with an internship in general surgery, followed by a dermatology residency at Oregon Health & Science University, which she finished in 2019. She then completed a fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery and cutaneous oncology at the University of Colorado Denver in 2020. She also worked as a clinical research fellow at Oregon Health & Science University, serving as principal investigator and sub-investigator on numerous clinical trials. She has since returned to Oregon to practice in Portland. Her professional memberships include the American Academy of Dermatology, the American College of Mohs Surgery, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the Council for Nail Disorders, the International Transplant Skin Cancer Collaborative and Alpha Omega Alpha.
