Susan Gosselin

Susan Gosselin works part time as a provider nurse practitioner at Compass Family Health, 835 Central Ave, Suite 200 in Dover, NH. Her nursing work began in 1988 as a research nurse in pediatric hematology and oncology at the Children's Clinical Research Center at Yale New Haven Hospital, where infusion therapy was her specialty. Later she built an adult oncology career at a New Hampshire hospital, moving from staff nurse up to Director of Hematology and Oncology. In 1992 she entered a pediatric master's program at the University of Virginia, focused on oncology and bone marrow transplant processes, and graduated magna cum laude. In 2011 she entered a post-master's Family Nurse Practitioner certificate program at Regis College. Before joining Compass in November 2019, she spent more than seven years as the sole Family Nurse Practitioner in a primary care office, caring for over 6,000 patients. She also has experience in urgent care, community health and part-time primary care, building minor surgery and emergency skills. She offers functional medicine with a patient-centered focus, plus pellet therapy through Compass Hormone Health. New patients can see her for hormone optimization and medical weight management. She is the certifying provider for the NH Therapeutic Medical Cannabis program. She is not taking new primary care patients, but sees existing Compass patients for acute visits.
