Suleka Perera

Suleka Perera owns HT Salon, where she holds the roles of Senior Cosmetologist and Bridal Specialist. Her career started in Sri Lanka in 1999, after she trained at the CG Academy there, and she has more than 25 years of experience. After relocating to the United States, she founded HT Bridal & Salon in Gaithersburg. Before opening HT Salon in Kentlands in 2020, she became a partner in Symmetry Salon Studios, a chain of luxury studios, and served as Site Director of its Gaithersburg branch. Her training covers the Toni & Guy Teacher Training Course, the Keune Color Professionals Course, the Wella International Professionals course, the L'Oréal Master Color Course, Graham Webb Makeup Academy training and Sothys Skin Care Training. She is listed as a Keune Educator and as a member of the Symmetry Educational Team. Her work spans hair, makeup and skin care. She won a Best Haircut award at a national competition in Sri Lanka. Her credits include hair work for Marsha Blackburn on the Larry King TV Show, connected to the Capitol Hill Hair Show, and hair and makeup for Miss USA 2017 Kara McCullough at the Capital Hair Show in 2019.
