Steven is the master artisan and founder of Fairchild Hair Artistry. He is nationally certified as a Master Colorist, one of only a few in Atlanta. He is one of Buckhead's leading colorists. He has worked in beauty for 25 years. He started out sweeping floors in his mother's salon, then apprenticed at top salons in New York. Before returning to Atlanta, he spent ten years in Minnesota as salon director and director of education at one of the state's most prestigious salons. Press features include Allure, Vogue and Harper's Bazaar. His clientele spans celebrities, models, TV personalities, influencers and executives, as well as clients who want everyday luxury. He works as both artist and educator and mentors emerging stylists. Color is his core focus, from transformational color and color correction to hard-to-achieve shades. He builds each color around the client's tone, lifestyle and hair condition. Precision cuts and long-lasting blowouts complement his style. He offers consultations, plus cutting and styling at the salon.
