About
Michael, a guest artisan at Fairchild Hair Artistry, works in the salon on select days and is a celebrity stylist. He is a master of the Sahag dry-cutting technique, which he learned over several years of training directly with John Sahag. His training also includes the Vidal Sassoon Academy and time with Rusk and Jingles. He began working as an editorial hairstylist at 22. Magazine credits include Vogue, Marie Claire, Glamour, Cosmopolitan and Italian Vogue. He has styled runway shows and led campaigns for Ray-Ban, Wrangler and Samsonite. Clients have included Heidi Klum, Jessica Simpson, Ashley Judd and Alicia Keys, and he was key hair stylist for America's Next Top Model on The CW. At the salon he concentrates on cutting, and Steven handles all color work. His cuts are sculptural and precision-based, shaped to each person's features. Sessions cover dry cuts, men's grooming, red carpet event styling, up-dos and pin-up styling, and on-location work.
