Sterling Styles

Sterling Styles is a Master Stylist at AOC Salon, where he works as a Master Artist at the Ghent and Hilltop locations. The salon describes his experience as award-winning and reports over 15 years in the industry. Before joining AOC, he opened his own boutique luxury salon in downtown Richmond, Virginia, in 2015 and ran it for 11 years before selling the business.

His training began at Paul Mitchell Academy, where he graduated with all honors in 2010. He then completed a two-year apprenticeship at a French salon in Sarasota, Florida, which the salon's own materials rank among the world's top 200 salons. He later took an advanced precision cutting course at Vidal Sassoon Academy.

At his Richmond salon he was known for balayage, layered haircuts, short pixies, men's grooming, and fashion-forward short styles. He is a good fit for clients who want a precise cut and a look that suits everyday life. According to the salon, clients value his attentive listening, technical skill, and natural-looking results.
