About
Stephanie Nelson is the owner stylist at Rustic Mane, where she works one-on-one with each client.
Her training started at Elite Progressive School of Cosmetology, in an extended program. Her career launched after a two-year apprenticeship in Berkeley, which set her up as an East Bay stylist. She has served as Lead Instructor for a salon apprenticeship program and has worked as an instructor for Milan Institute and Marinello Schools of Beauty.
She started working independently in June 2024, in a salon suite. Her specialties are creative color and cutting, and she works with a wide range of hair textures, including thick and curly as well as fine and straight.
