Sky Young

Sky works as a hair artist at Sky Hair Artist in Denver, with services spanning color, cutting, extensions, styling and creative hair work. Color and blonding are the core of the practice, covering balayage, color melts and vivid fashion shades. Training includes cosmetology at the Aveda Institute, graduating in 2020, and esthetics (skincare) school begun at age 16. Certified in four hair extension methods, Sky has studied under numerous master stylists since graduating and has returned to teach at the Aveda Institute. Early on, the path ran from a shampoo-sales job in a salon to salon coordinator, a role held for several years. Work has covered fashion shows, photoshoots and editorial and runway projects, some of it published. Sky won Denver Fashion Week's hairstylist of the year and the Denver Spotlight Awards' hairstylist of the year in 2025, plus several industry nominations for extension and editorial work.
