Silvy Celine Akrawe is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon at Star Plastic Surgery, where she works alongside Dr. Elan Reisin. She earned her medical degree at the Wayne State University School of Medicine and completed a general surgery residency at Ascension Providence Hospital. She then completed a plastic surgery fellowship at Henry Ford Hospital. She continues her training through advanced educational courses, national conferences and hands-on cadaveric training programs. She has also contributed to academic work, including quality improvement initiatives and published book chapters.
She is board-eligible in plastic surgery.
