About
Shigeru Hanai is the co-founder and co-owner of Lashes by Shigeru and serves as its Master Technician. Before founding the business, he spent a decade as a master hairstylist in Tokyo and New York and owned salons in both cities. He then moved to Los Angeles and founded Lashes by Shigeru in Beverly Hills.
He holds a Licensed Cosmetologist license and is a Certified Lash Master, with certifications from the National and International Lash Masters Association in classic, weightless, classic-volume and mega-volume lashes. He is a 1st place award-winning lash artist and is well-respected by peers who are top international lash artists.
He serves models and celebrity clients, aims for a high standard in his work, and gives extra care to customer service.
