Shelly Hatting

Shelly Hatting works as a hairstylist in St Paul, at 688 Hague Ave.

She trained at the Aveda Institute and started out at the Rita Ambourne Day Spa with Rita Ambourne. She then moved to Estetica, a concept salon in the Cathedral Hill area of St Paul.

She later taught for Aveda as an instructor, brought on by Oscar Bond of New York City to teach the company's signature techniques, and worked alongside Ted Gibson during that time. After leaving the Aveda faculty she opened and operated her own salon, BLEACH.

Her education also includes training with Angelo Seminara, Artistic Director for Davines, on technique and style. She has taught an All Nutrient Color Line trends class across the country and, from 2011 to 2013, designed a line of salon apparel through her own LLC that was featured nationally in hair shows.
