Shelah

Shelah is the owner and master stylist at OutSpoken Headquarters. She spent over two decades in the industry, focusing on hair and makeup for movies, TV and theatre, before moving into salon work. She trained at beauty school in California after moving there at 18 and started her first hairdressing job after graduating. She became a manager at her second salon job and has held management roles since. She holds a college degree with studies in psychology and sociology and views hairdressing as a form of therapy for many clients, drawing on that training to respond to their needs. She coaches staff privately on any service they are struggling with and helps them find a method that suits them. She is firm on boundaries and standards. Her favorite R+Co products are Sun Catcher leave-in and Power C styling spray.
