About
Sharon Vogel is the founder and director of National Lymphatic Centers. She has spent more than three decades in lymphatic care and developed the Vogel Method of manual lymphatic drainage, the signature technique. She also founded the Vogel Institute of Lymphology in 2021, where she teaches the method through CEU education to staff and other licensed therapists, and she chairs the Illinois Chapter of the Lymphatic Education and Research Network.
Her specialties include the Vogel Method, complete decongestive therapy, Lymphatic Enhancement Therapy and post-surgical lymphatic massage. She works with clients on post-surgical swelling, lymphedema, lipedema and women's wellness, and manages lymphedema and lipedema over the long term through a series of visits. A first visit includes an evaluation, an assessment and a 70-minute session, followed by a treatment plan.
Recognition includes being named a Top Doctor in Chicago in 2022, along with features in American Health Report, Natural Awakenings Chicago (including a 2021 Women in Wellness feature) and national health television.
