About
Shannon Capwell is the owner and stylist behind Effortless by Shannon, working at Envy Salon and Spa in Middletown, Rhode Island. She has spent her career at Envy and has more than 15 years of experience as a hairstylist.
She trained at the Tony & Guy Academy and graduated in 2009. Color is her main focus: she focuses on blondes, balayage and dimensional color that holds up as it grows out, and has been doing color work from black to blonde since 2010.
She works with many local clients and military spouses on Aquidneck Island. Each visit opens with a talk about hair history, lifestyle and goals, after which color, placement and style options are worked out together with the client.
