Shalondria Simpson, PharmD

Shalondria Simpson, PharmD, co-founded Tru Essence and works there as a compounding pharmacist, specializing in compounded pharmaceuticals. She earned a bachelor's degree from the University of North Texas and a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Texas Southern University, graduating in 2008. She completed a pharmacy practice residency at Parkland Health & Hospital Systems in Dallas, where she rotated through Dallas County clinics counseling underserved patients on their medications.

After residency she held a dual role as pharmacist and professor at Texas Southern University. In 2013 she launched her own pharmacy focused on compounding. She adjusts medications to fit each patient's needs.
