Serena Lisowe is the owner and lead hairstylist of Studio Siubar in Encinitas. She began working with hair in high school and trained at Palomar Institute of Cosmetology after graduating, earning her cosmetology license in 2009. She worked at Ubuntu Hair Studio in Solana Beach from 2010 to 2019, then set up her own studio in a private salon suite in Encinitas.
Her French balayage work was built through mentors and training with L'Oreal Professionnel Color, and she works as a French balayage specialist. Her cutting training draws on the Sassoon lineage and Travis Parker's HME program, and she is HME certified in haircutting. She has worked with Neuma Beauty and Milbon products since starting out.
