Scott Farmer

Scott Farmer owns Scott Farmer Hair Salon and works as its sole stylist, with more than 30 years behind the chair and more than 15,000 clients served. He trained early at Toni & Guy and later served as one of its Artistic Directors before moving to Venice, Florida. He has also opened and run his own salon, JScott Salon, and spent years working as an independent stylist.

His focus is precision cuts, custom color and balayage, including blonde and dimensional balayage and hand-painted balayage. He offers color correction, such as removing box dye, repairing brassy or banded color and tinting back to natural, and has performed thousands of corrections. He also offers gray blending and welcomes clients who are transitioning to gray, going blonde or making corrective changes.

His training includes Toni & Guy in London, Tokyo and New York, along with Redken education and Schwarzkopf training. He holds a Master Cosmetologist license and certifications from Paul Mitchell, Tigi and Schwarzkopf. Before cutting or coloring, he looks at density, growth pattern and daily styling habits, and when a client wants brightness or dimension he suggests highlights or balayage instead of single process. He advises a men's cut retouch every 3 to 4 weeks and a women's cut retouch every 5 to 8 weeks.
