Sarah Mac

Sarah Mac works as a hair designer at Asterie Hair Collective in Seattle, a salon that carries her name. She holds a cosmetology license and went through Washington's reciprocity process to get it recognized in the state in that same year. Earlier, she worked for six and a half years at Habitude Salon and Day Spa, with locations in Ballard and Fremont, rising to Team Lead and Aveda Ambassador there.

Her education includes study at the Aveda Fredric's Institute in Indianapolis, Indiana, and a bachelor's degree in music with percussion as her focus, earned at Adrian College in Michigan. She has professional training in Beaded Row Extensions from More Than A Method, and she completed two advanced training programs at Habitude Salon and Day Spa.

Sarah works with all hair types, textures and lengths. Beaded Row Extensions are among her services, and she plans each row around the individual client's hair. Her styles range from alternative and expressive to natural and blended. She invites clients to arrive as they are and work with her on the final look. She stays current on health-conscious products, techniques and tools through ongoing education.
