Sarah K. Girardi

Dr. Girardi is a physician with more than 25 years in practice. She received her medical degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She trained at The New York Hospital/Cornell Medical Center, where she became the first woman to complete its urology residency. She went on to a fellowship in male infertility and microsurgery at the same institution, and has since added training in reconstructive surgery. She is a former Chief of the Division of Infertility and Female Urology at North Shore University Hospital and has worked as an attending urologist at St. Francis Hospital in Roslyn. She holds academic appointments as Clinical Associate Professor of Urology and of Reproductive Medicine at Cornell Medical Center, and as Clinical Associate Professor of Urology at Hofstra University. Her recent practice centers on female sexual health and vaginal and pelvic floor dysfunction. Over her career she has also treated sexual health concerns in both men and women.
