Sarah Downs

Sarah Downs is the founder and owner of Lashes & Lace and works as a makeup artist. She has been a professional makeup artist since 2000, and held positions in the corporate sector before expanding the business. She handles all booking details for clients who book through the business and answers their questions. Her corporate background includes work at a risk reduction organization, where she restructured and planned and implemented learning events across the US, and was promoted to sole team lead of client relations. That organization worked with the FAA, the US Army and large hospital systems. As a professional freelance makeup artist based in DFW, she has experience in corporate production, commercials, print, television, live-streamed events, editorial and sports events. Her looks run from understated, natural styles to full glam, and she works with a wide range of skin tones. Her clients include many brides and high-profile individuals, and she has collaborated with ESPN, Fox Sports, WWE, Amazon and Spectrum, and her client list includes Toyota and Southwest Airlines. She was interviewed by Voyage Dallas Magazine in 2018 and travels across DFW, including Dallas, Plano, Frisco, Arlington and Fort Worth.
