LaDonna Stein

LaDonna Stein works as a makeup and hair artist and is currently the lead makeup and hair artist at The Vixen Society, a boudoir studio in Dallas. Her beauty industry training began in 1995. She trained at the Diane Dick Modeling Agency in Amarillo, Texas, and later taught makeup classes there. She also took coursework at the University of North Texas in Denton, covering art history and stage makeup.

Stein joined MAC Cosmetics in the early 2000s and served on its Impact Team before moving into full-time freelance work. She owned and ran Dallas Pinup in Deep Ellum until selling it in 2022. Her work spans bridal beauty, body painting, high fashion, commercial campaigns and theatrical productions, and she is known for vintage looks.

She has worked with the Dallas Opera, on TV productions and independent films, and at a 2019 Dolce & Gabbana showcase at Winspear Dallas. Playboy, Retro Lovely, Vanity Affair and the Dallas Observer have all featured her work.
