Sara Ophoven

Sara Ophoven co-founded BLVD Beauty Booths and works there as a cosmetologist and salon manager. She began her career in Minneapolis in 2005 after training at the Aveda Institute.

She then spent five years in New York City styling hair for red carpet events and fashion shows, and worked at New York Fashion Week and on editorial photo shoots. While there she apprenticed with several New York City colorists. She later returned to the Twin Cities.

Her known work includes blowouts, bridal updos, natural lived-in color and hand-tied extensions. She has 18 years behind the chair and builds long-term client relationships.
