Sandy Anders

Sandy Anders is the Hair Designer at Sandy The Hair Expert in Lewisville, and she has worked as a hair stylist for almost 30 years. She graduated from Ogle Beauty School in Arlington, Texas, in 1994 and holds a cosmetology license. She was a Wella Color Educator from 1997 to 1999, and from 2001 to 2007 she worked as key hair and makeup for broadcast television through 5th Dimension Media.

Much of her training centers on extensions and hair loss. She is a Certified Great Lengths Specialist (2000), Cinderella Extension Certified (2005) and Certified Hairdreams Specialist (2007). She completed the Hairdreams Microline seminar in 2008, became a certified Hairdreams Nano Laser beamer in 2016 and has a certificate of completion in The Connected Method for sew-in extensions (2020). Her advanced training covers cutting extensions, hair toppers and hair pieces, adding bangs, and cutting and thinning wigs. On the hair loss side she has advanced training in trichology, the study of hair loss, and holds the title Hair Loss Practitioner as a Certified Hair Loss Practitioner from The Trichology Institute (2018). She was certified in hair loss for men by American Hairlines in 2007. Her wig and volumizer certifications include HairUwear (2022) and UltraStrands (2024), and in 2024 she was trained in England as an UltraStrands USA Educator.

Her specialties include hair extensions, hair loss services, precision cutting, keratin smoothing, multi-dimensional coloring, hair makeovers, hair coaching and men's cuts. She works with clients who have had a bad haircut or color, breakage, hair loss or thinning hair, and her testimonials point to balayage, wedding day hair and fine hair work. She also offers education for new stylists in the extension industry, and holds a Certified Master Life Coach credential from the Life Coaching Institute (2016).
