Sandra Schallenberg

Sandra Schallenberg owns the practice and works as its electrologist. She holds a Kansas State Licensed Electrologist (LE) license to perform electrolysis and skin care, along with Board Certified Professional Electrologist (CPE) and Board Certified Medical Electrologist (CME) credentials.

Before electrology, she worked in quality control management for two food processing companies. She began training to become an electrologist in 1984, completed electrolysis school at the St. Louis Institute of Electrolysis in Kirkwood, Missouri, and later completed advanced skincare training at the Conservatory of Esthetics in Chicago, Illinois. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Nutrition from the University of Missouri-Columbia, with more than 60 college credits in science. She continues her education through workshops and conferences and keeps up with new technology and technique.

She has more than 35 years of experience in permanent hair removal and specializes in electrolysis. She served as editor of the American Electrology Association's Journal of Electrology from 2000 to 2006, was recruited at least twice to serve on the association's Infection Prevention Committee, and has held various positions with the Kansas Association of Professional Electrologists for over 30 years. She is a member of both the American Electrology Association and that Kansas group. Her awards include a 1993 Certificate of Recognition from the Kansas Association of Professional Electrologists, a 2001 Certificate of Appreciation from the International Board of Electrologist Certification, and the 2002 President's Award from the American Electrology Association. She has helped thousands of clients over the years.
