Saki

Saki founded Painterly By Saki, where she is listed as artist and owner. She divides her work among artistry, teaching and cosmetology. She holds a cosmetologist license in Japan and another in New York State.

Saki has worked in the beauty field for almost two decades and has concentrated on lash extensions for over fifteen years. She has worked at leading salons in Tokyo, later spent time styling clients in Los Angeles who included well-known names, and then took on management responsibilities at a salon in New York.

Her work runs from understated lash definition to bolder, textured looks, including anime-inspired and wet-look designs. For proportion, texture and balance, she turns to fashion and art. Many of her clients have kept coming to her for five to ten years, and she has also looked after clients in their 80s.
