About

Sade owns Sade Styles Natural and works as a braid stylist, braiding clients personally at Styles + Company: Salon Suites in Lawndale. She has more than 18 years of braiding experience, having been paid for braiding from age 13, and studied at Cal State Fullerton. She also hosts and mentors a team of beauty professionals at Styles + Company while continuing to braid. She is a brand ambassador for Rastafri Braiding Hair and the author of New Growth: A Journey Towards Wellness & Self-Worth.

Before opening her own business, she worked in Brooklyn at Respect For Life Beauty World in summer 2016. After returning to Los Angeles, she worked for two years as an ABA therapist with children with autism. Her public relations background includes launching the PR agency MSM LA Media, an internship at Echo Hattix, and joining The Purple Agency in 2018, where she served as a senior strategist and lead PR representative, leading PR campaigns for artists. She now works in public relations and event planning.

She opened Sade Styles: Beauty Supply & Braid Lounge in Gardena in August 2020, and it closed in December 2024. Her press coverage includes Sheen Magazine, the LA Sentinel, VoyageLA, SHOUTOUT LA and Bombshell By Bleu.
