Ruxandra Vasilescu is the owner and independent colorist at Boho Balayage, with over 20 years in the New York City beauty industry. She worked at Le Panache Loft in Williamsburg from 2019, and after that salon closed during the pandemic she started Boho Balayage as a solo business.
She is a certified Cezanne Artiste Educator and considers Cezanne smoothing a core specialty. Her other focus areas are classic French balayage, creative color, platinum blonde, complete transformations and keratin treatments.
She was a top 25 finalist in the Hot Shot Overall Transformation Category of the 2022 One Shot Hair Awards. She works with an integrity-first approach aimed at clean, wearable tones.
