Robert Hunsaker

Robert Hunsaker is a board-certified plastic surgeon at CG Cosmetic Surgery in Miami, with more than 25 years of practice behind him. He is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and an elected fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He concentrates on cosmetic plastic surgery of the face and body, and performs breast augmentation and facelift surgery.

His training started at Wittenberg University and the Ohio State University College of Medicine, both completed with honors. He then finished a five-year general surgery residency at the University of North Carolina, serving as chief resident, followed by an 18-month plastics fellowship at City Hospital Regional Plastics Unit in Nottingham, England. He later completed a plastic surgery residency at the University of Miami School of Medicine under Ralph Millard Jr., again as chief resident.

Earlier in his career he was associate chief of plastic surgery at the University of Miami and director of the plastic surgery residency training program at JMH and the University of Miami. His research has covered heart muscle diseases, microvascular surgery, improved breast implants and facelift techniques, and he has published several papers. He has appeared as a guest on television and radio and has been invited to speak to plastic surgeons in Japan, Bahrain, England and South America. He belongs to local, regional and national medical and plastic surgery organizations and has treated patients from 32 countries and all 50 states.
