Enrique Perna

Enrique Perna works on the anesthesia and nursing team at CG Cosmetic Surgery in Miami as an APRN, FNP-C, and also works as a First Surgical Assistant.

His background begins in Havana, where he completed surgical residencies and qualified as a General Surgery specialist in 1987. He worked as a General Surgeon Specialist at Enrique Cabrera Hospital from 1987 to 1995 and served as Professor Instructor of General Surgery there from 1988 to 1995. From 1995 to 1999 he practiced emergency medicine in Colombia, working as an Emergency Surgeon at the Social Security Institute Rafael Uribe in Cali and at Hospital de Buga in Palmira, and he was also Professor of Surgery at Universidad del Valle in Cali from 1996 to 1999.

For more than twenty years he has worked as a First Surgical Assistant at Miami cosmetic surgery centers. Across plastic surgery, emergency medicine and academic surgery, he has more than 30 years of clinical experience.
