Richard Weiss is a surgeon at the practice whose work centers on oculoplastic surgery, including cosmetic and reconstructive eyelid and eyebrow procedures, mid-face lifts and lower lid fat transposition. He also performs CO2 laser skin resurfacing. He is board certified in ophthalmology and is a board-certified, fellowship-trained oculoplastic surgeon. Allergan has given him Platinum status as a Botox Cosmetic injector. He has served as a visiting surgical consultant in Haiti, India, Barbados, South Africa, Canada and Mexico. He was a Senior Instructor for the American Academy of Ophthalmology, teaching formal courses on Botox, and taught on the faculty of the Beckman Laser Institute at UCI. In 1995 he completed training in CO2 laser skin rejuvenation and became one of the first laser surgeons in the country with that training. He is an innovator in removing lower eyelid bags without a skin incision.
