Renelyn Thomas is the executive director and an instructor at Industry Makeup Academy. She leads the Pro and Online Courses as lead instructor. She is a certified makeup artist with 17 or more years of experience, and she is a renowned influencer with more than 100,000 followers.

Her training includes a BBA from Emory University and an MBA from Georgia State University. She holds the academy's IMA Certified Makeup Artist credential and is certified in airbrush makeup application. Her work has been published and featured in magazines, film and runway.

Her specialties include airbrush and bridal makeup, soft glam and natural beauty, and personal shopping and one-on-one lessons. She also works in makeup education, makeup industry marketing and cosmetic brand partnerships, and beauty blogging, with a focus on diversity in makeup education.
