René Andersen

René Andersen is a founder and paramedical aesthetician at Lulur Spa. She specializes in paramedical skincare and makeup and has 30 years of experience in skin care. She worked with Marvin Westmore, a Hollywood makeup artist, practicing and teaching paramedical skincare and makeup. She also applied paramedical skincare and makeup for patients at Rancho Los Amigos and Grossman Burn Centers. She was one of the original aestheticians hired by Aida Thibiant in Beverly Hills, and later moved to a single room at Michaeljohn Salon in Beverly Hills after a long period with Thibiant. She was trained by Diane DiCarrie, past president of Cidesco, and continues to take skin care courses in the United States and abroad. Her clients include people in Los Angeles, New York and the Hamptons, among them Hollywood clients. Her work has been featured in Allure, InStyle, Extra and Entertainment Tonight. She shares seasonal skin care advice and writes educational blog posts.
