About
Raj Khalsa, M.D., is a board-certified vascular and interventional radiologist on the Torrance team, with expertise in venous procedures for the lower extremities. He graduated magna cum laude with a degree in biomedical engineering from the University of Southern California. He completed medical school, a general surgery internship and a radiology residency at UC Irvine, where he was chief resident. He then did fellowship training in vascular and interventional radiology at the Dotter Interventional Institute. His work focuses on minimally invasive, image-guided procedures for arterial and venous disease. He received the Resident of the Year award and the Radiological Society of North America Resident Research Award. He has published peer-reviewed papers, presented on minimally invasive therapies, won grants for academic development and research, and led several medical device development projects.
