Rachel Swire

Rachel Swire is the owner of her salon and also styles hair there. Her training came from Empire Beauty School, and she began working in a salon while in cosmetology school. Afterward she spent time at Hair Atlanta of Buckhead, gaining experience in hair science, product knowledge, continuing education and the operational side of a beauty business. She opened her own salon business in 2006 and has operated it for more than 18 years. Publications that have featured her work include Rolling Out, The Atlantan, American Salon, Modern Salon, The Tease, EVO Magazine and The Voyage ATL. Beyond the salon floor, she has done photo shoots, an independent film, reality television episodes, music video sets and special effects makeup, and she has led education classes and worked with celebrities and dignitaries. Her process starts with a consultation to learn about a client's hair before she suggests products or services. She then tailors regimens, product selections, services and upkeep, and offers encouragement and support throughout.
