Rachel Moen

Rachel Moen owns and runs Facials with Rachel in Maplewood. She has more than 16 years in the beauty industry and has provided over 20,000 services. She started out as a receptionist at a local salon during her teen years.

She completed hands-on training at Dermalogica's global headquarters, earned ProPen training and certification there in September 2022, and has returned several times for advanced ProPen technique courses. Her specialties are facials, microneedling with the ProPen and NanoInfusion. She holds the Advanced Practice Licensed Esthetician title in Minnesota, a Licensed Tattoo Artist license in Minnesota, Licensed Cosmetologist licenses in Minnesota and Wisconsin, a Cosmetology Salon Owner license in Minnesota, and a Body Art Establishment License. She also holds the title Professional Makeup Artist Instructor.

Her makeup work includes bridal, special effects and Halloween looks, and she has worked as a makeup artist on a film set. She has taught makeup at Professional Hair Design Academy in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, including a special effects and wounds workshop, and has taught makeup at Cleopatra's Envy Makeup Academy. She has also applied Dermalogica skin care for an MLB commercial and for a New York Yankees pitcher.
