Rachel Burrington

Rachel Burrington is a licensed esthetician and owns Healing Beauty Project. Her training includes Euro Institute of Skincare, and she holds a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from American University of Paris. Certifications include NCEA, Fearless Beauties, First Aid/CPR/AED/BBP, HIV/AIDS, Milady RISE and Enhanced Touch Oncology.

She has also studied in several areas. Oncology-focused esthetics was taken through Oncology Spa Solutions, and a UCLA Extension course covered skin care ingredients. Cosmetic chemistry came through DermaEducationTV, post-graduate esthetic training with Dr. Erin Madigan-Fleck, and hands-on facial massage with Joe Glow. Herbal apprenticeships were completed with Wildness Within Roots to Tips and Cedar Mountain Herb School. Other programs include breathwork facilitator levels 1-4 with David Elliot, a course with Born Rooted, earth medicine practitioner training with Madrona House Apothecary, and an advanced energy intuition program with Northwest Healing Studio.

Her approach looks at skin as a whole and gives weight to a scientific study of ingredients. She works with clients considering advanced procedures such as botox or surgery, provided they understand the pros and cons. Client consent agreements name her as the esthetician performing treatments.
