Philippe Polo

Philippe Polo is a stylist at Harper Salon on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles. He started his career in Lyon, France, straight out of beauty school, then worked at the French salons Jean Louis David and Jacques Dessanges International. Jean Louis Deforges later recruited him to manage St. Germain Des Pres in Paris, his largest salon.

He spent five years teaching haircutting techniques to aspiring hairdressers. After moving to New York, he worked with Jose Eber and at Privé, where he built a celebrity clientele. Frédéric Fekkai recruited him to Beverly Hills, and he has also worked at Sally Hershberger, Frédéric Fekkai and Privé. He joined Harper Salon on Melrose alongside fellow Privé stylist Nicole Hartmann.

His Beverly Hills clients have included Chris Botti, Gustavo Dudamel, Sigourney Weaver, Claire Danes, Jonah Hill, Wayne Gretzky and Nicky Hilton. The salon describes him as one of Los Angeles' well-loved, skilled stylists.
