Pam Edwards

Pam Edwards has held a hairdressing license since 1999 and has worked in hair extensions since 2004, which adds up to about 22 years in extensions, more than 13 of them in hand-tied work. She owns the studio and works alone there, seeing one client at a time by appointment. Her license covers cutting, coloring and shampooing, but the studio currently only fits and moves up extensions.

She trained with Kacey Welch in two sessions and has used the Kacey Welch Method since 2015. Certifications in five beaded row or hand-tied methods are also on her record. She has taken classes in tape-in methods and in Individual Beads, Fusion, Shrink Links, Soap, Dreamcatcher, Hairdreams, NBR, SKW and the Tightline Method. Beaded rows have been part of her work since 2014, and she keeps taking courses on newer extension methods.

Her work centers on fine and thinning hair. Each installation places one or two rows of wefts stitched to beads lined with silicone. She does not install or remove any other kind of extension. Shade is selected with the client and matched to the ends of their natural hair. Every installation or move-up gets her full time, so she does not rush either one.
