Ope Ofodile

Ope Ofodile, M.D., M.P.H., is a board-certified dermatologist at DESSNA in Marietta, seeing patients from Marietta, East Cobb, Roswell and North Atlanta. She holds a B.S. from Spelman College (2004) and an M.D. from Duke University School of Medicine (2010). Her internship was at Mount Sinai in New York in 2011, and she completed her dermatology residency at the University of Washington Medical Center in 2014. Before relocating to Georgia in 2017, she was an associate dermatologist at Kaiser Permanente in Northern California. She holds Diplomate status with the American Board of Dermatology and has Fellow standing in the American Academy of Dermatology; she is also a member of the Women's Dermatologic Society, the American Society of Dermatopathology and the Skin of Color Society. The practice states she was listed as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor in 2025 and 2026. Her work covers general, surgical, pediatric and cosmetic dermatology. She wrote a Skin School article for the practice on seasonal hair shedding and when it warrants evaluation.
