Opal Pitzler

Opal Pitzler founded Opal Beauty Rituals in 2017 and works as a stylist and colorist. She trained in cosmetology at GM Aveda Institute from 2005 to 2006, then completed advanced training at GM Studio, where she started as an intern and junior stylist in 2006 and stayed until 2008.

Before opening her own business, she taught and led in several settings. She was a senior stylist and instructor at Gary Manuel Salon from 2008 to 2014, where she also headed new talent onboarding from 2010 to 2014. She taught at GM Aveda Institute between 2009 and 2012, served as director of education at OLA Salon from 2014 to 2017, and was a planning strategist at Cosmetologists United from 2020 to 2022.
