Nigel Mask

Nigel Mask founded Gifted Hands, a haircare business in Cincinnati that he began in 2013. The business operates under Nigel's Gifted Hands, LLC, of which he is the sole proprietor. He has worked in the beauty industry for more than ten years. His work covers healthy hair education, image consulting, and community outreach centered on entrepreneurship and leadership. He trained in the cosmetology track at Mansfield Senior High School and received his cosmetology license at 17. He later earned a psychology degree from the University of Cincinnati, followed by a Master of Science in Executive Leadership and Organizational Change from Northern Kentucky University, completed in 2019. He has served on the panel at the University of Cincinnati's yearly Student Leadership Conference and has spoken at the Success Looks Like ME program at Butler College Prep in Chicago. As lead stylist, he worked on Ensemble Theatre of Cincinnati productions in 2022 and 2023. He also worked as a stylist on season 1 of the Netflix Original Say I Do, served as a testing stylist for the P&G Pantene Pro-V Gold Series Relaunch, and has worked as a hair educator and guest stylist with My Black Is Beautiful at Sally Beauty events, including the DIY University Black Panther: Wakanda Forever program.
