Nicole Tompkins

Nicole Tompkins runs Bella Niche and co-owns Eden Studios. Her career began in 1999 in color work under Rocco Altobelli. Around 2005 she relocated to the Richfield area to help launch EQ Life, where she served as a color lead and trainer. By 2009 she had joined Sola Salons, where she opened the La Bella Mia studio and worked as a full-service stylist. From 2015 her work increasingly centered on alternative hair, meaning wigs and hairpieces. Color and alternative hair are her specialties, and she serves women dealing with hair loss from chemotherapy, alopecia, hereditary thinning and other causes. In 2025 she was asked to teach at a fall wig retreat. She designed the Bella Niche Hair Collective range of wigs and toppers, based on 10 years of experience.
