Nicola

Nicola is a stylist at Sweetheart Salon in Portland, where she has worked since 2004. She began her career in New York City more than two decades ago and trained there, with a classical background in cutting. Her specialties are hair colour and straight razor cutting. Colour work includes balayage, vivid reds, browns and platinum. She completed an in-depth apprenticeship in corrective colour and has received extensive training from Bumble and bumble, Jayne Matthews of Edo and Corrina of Pony Salon. Outside the salon, she works as a session stylist on numerous international campaigns and has done work at New York Fashion Week. She remains committed to ongoing education.
