Natasha Ray

Natasha Ray founded Noir Men's Grooming Lounge and is a licensed manicurist. She was General Manager of the Melrose flagship of Hammer & Nails, where she also worked as Lead Manicurist. Before that, she helped build Hammer & Nails Grooming Salon for Guys in Los Angeles, beginning as a manicurist and later becoming its Director of Education for Corporate, where she trained nail technicians. She started working as a manicurist in the late 1990s in Washington, D.C., where she ran a nail shop on Capitol Hill and a mobile service visiting assisted living homes and hospice facilities. Her other work includes manicures at the Ritz Carlton, editorial manicures for Essence magazine, and freelance manicures on runway models during New York Fashion Week. Her specialty is men's hand and foot grooming. She developed the Organic Body Society natural grooming line for men and, after opening the lounge, the Noir Collection of men's hand, foot and body scrubs. In 2015 she appeared on ABC's Shark Tank alongside Hammer & Nails founder Michael Elliot, giving one of the judges a manicure on camera, and she has also appeared on Tyra Banks' The FABLife to share men's hand and foot grooming tips. She has worked as a manicurist for stars of 13 reality TV shows, and her celebrity clients include actors, professional athletes, recording artists and pastors.
