Natalie Maibenko

Natalie Maibenko founded Unique Verve and works as both an esthetician and a functional medicine practitioner. She holds the Master Esthetician credential and is an AFMC Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner. She completed a three-year advanced program at The School of Applied Functional Medicine, an accredited continuing medical education provider. AFMC certification required more than 620 hours of training, clinical case studies, and over two years of study and examination.

She has over 22 years of experience treating skin conditions, with particular attention to acne, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis, premature aging, pigmentation and other inflammatory skin concerns. Her functional medicine and functional dermatology work addresses the root causes of hormonal and other imbalances. She performs the First Time Facial and other facial treatments, and she reviews lab results as part of the three-month VIP program. She takes a full review of each client's health history before choosing any testing. She was one client's esthetician for about seven years before she began offering functional medicine.

She has provided facial treatments to Hollywood celebrities. She was named Best Facial in Boston by InStyle, Allure, Boston Magazine and the Improper Bostonian, and Best Functional Medicine Practitioner in Boston. Before any facial, she assesses skin type and condition, then selects treatments and recommends home products to match.
