Monice Lopez

Monice Lopez owns MoHair Salon in Roseville and works as a hair stylist and national educator. She specializes in lived-in blondes and in working with naturally curly hair, and her salon work covers texture and blonding. Before opening her own studio, she co-owned Nevaeh Salon, a twelve-chair salon in Roseville, where she built experience in leadership, education and business development and became familiar with Summit and Strategies business concepts. Her education work is wide-ranging. She serves as a Platform Artist for Hanzo, Duomo and Controlled Chaos, and as a National Educator for Hattori Hanzo Shears. She also educates for Duomo Pro Color. She collaborates with Controlled Chaos and was selected to help write its curly hair education curriculum. She has taught curl techniques across the country, facilitated certifications nationwide and presented at major industry events. She works behind the chair four days a week and travels nationwide to teach. Clients come to her for consultations and texture-focused work.
