Monica Rani

Monica Rani is a board-certified dermatologist serving as Medical Director at Advanced Dermatology & Aesthetic Medicine in Chicago's South Loop, where she also conducts aesthetic injectable consultations. She did her undergraduate work at Northwestern University, then trained at the University of Minnesota, completing a dual residency in internal medicine and dermatology and serving as chief resident. Returning to Northwestern University, she became a full-time faculty member, teaching residents and medical students and consulting at the hospital. During that time she set up a global health program in dermatology and built a clinic combining dermatology and infectious disease. She now practices privately and presents at national and international professional meetings. Her focus is medical dermatology, and she has treated patients with skin of color and complex cases. She belongs to the Women's Dermatologic Society, the Medical Dermatology Society and the Chicago Dermatologic Society.
